HUNTINGTON STATE PARK

Huntington State Park is a unique desert oasis that supports plenty of outdoor fun, including fun in the water. The water in the reservoir is not only a sparkling blue year-round but is also extremely warm and inviting throughout the summer months. In fact, locals and visitors alike head to this gem of a park for all the following:

 

• Fishing for largemouth bass, trout, catfish, and bluefish
• Swimming
• Canoeing and kayaking
• Motor Boating and waterskiing

There is also, however, fun to be had on the land. The park, for example, has ample hiking opportunities that accommodate every level of ability. Additionally, Utah affords some of the best off-roading and mountain biking paths anywhere – and this area does not disappoint. There are also several public golf courses nearby that make bringing your clubs an excellent idea, and the park is dotted throughout with perfect spots for spreading out a picnic blanket and enjoying the beautiful day and the beautiful scenery. Finally, the glorious night sky and stargazing make every evening its own spectacular event.
